The yellow heat warning was extended to 14 districts in mainland Portugal and will remain in effect until Saturday. This information was issued by the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere.

The minimum temperatures forecast range between 14 degrees Celsius in Bragança, Braga and Leiria, and 24 degrees in Portalegre. Regarding maximum temperatures, they are expected to range between 27 degrees in Aveiro and 43 degrees in Setúbal and Évora.
