A group of young people traveled through several localities in the municipality of Castro Marim, including Altura, Castro Marim, Praia Verde, Rio Seco, Retur and Monte Francisco, as part of the "Youth for the Environment" program, carrying out environmental education actions, waste collection and separation, cleaning at the Sapal Natural Reserve and beaches included in the Blue Flag program, requalification of public spaces with planting of native species in Azinhal, and visits to the Official Animal Shelter and the Algarve Solid Waste Recovery and Treatment Center. This year's edition had the partnership of the youth association Young Link and the "Youth Volunteering for Nature and Forests" program from IPDJ, with the work developed having been presented to the Minister of Culture, Margarida Balseiro Lopes, during a visit to the participants.
