18-year-old detained in Braga for possession of prohibited weapon

An 18-year-old young man was arrested in Braga for possession of a prohibited weapon. During a preventive and community policing patrol operation by the PSP, police officers intercepted the young man and found that he was in possession of an expandable baton, which was seized. The young man was arrested and will be brought before the court.

Six Victorians called up to the Under-15 National Team

Law at UMinho has the highest entry grades in the country

The School of Law at the University of Minho achieved the highest entry scores in the country for its undergraduate programs, according to the results of the first phase of the National Access Contest. The Law degree recorded a classification of 17.35 points for the last admitted student, matching the University of Porto, while in the post-work regime UMinho led alone with 16.95 points. The Criminology and Criminal Justice program obtained the highest classification in the country, with 16.75 points. All places were filled and the best entry score at UMinho, 19.75 points, was awarded to a student who chose Law. The Law program lasts four years and 240 ECTS, covering various legal areas, while Criminology prepares students for crime prevention, security, and victim support.
