Eleven districts on the Portuguese mainland will be under yellow weather warning on Thursday and Friday due to the forecast of hot weather, with high maximum temperature values. The warning was issued by the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
The districts covered by the yellow warning are Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Guarda, Vila Real, Setúbal, Santarém, Lisboa, Beja, Castelo Branco and Portalegre. The yellow warning is the second lowest level of a three-level weather warning scale.
