Heat: 14 mainland districts under yellow warning until Saturday

Initially, the warning covered 11 districts, but was expanded to 14 districts on the Portuguese mainland. The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) extended the yellow warning for hot weather from 11 to 14 districts until Saturday, including Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Guarda, Faro, Vila Real, Setúbal, Santarém, Lisboa, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Coimbra and Portalegre. Eleven municipalities in four districts at maximum fire danger
