Nine districts in the center and south of mainland Portugal will be under yellow warning from 10:00 AM on Saturday. The districts covered are Évora, Santarém, Setúbal, Lisboa, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Coimbra and Portalegre.
The yellow warning, which represents a risk situation for certain activities dependent on weather conditions, comes into effect on Saturday and affects these nine regions in the center and south of the country.
On Sunday, the warning extends to four more districts in northern Portugal. Braga, Aveiro, Viana do Castelo and Porto will also be under yellow warning, expanding the meteorological alert to the northern region of mainland Portugal.
