Tuesday morning dawned with strong winds in Rio de Janeiro, with gusts that could reach 76 km/h, according to the Center for Operations and Resilience (COR) of the city hall. This meteorological situation is caused by the passage of a cold front through the city.
The forecast for the day includes increased cloudiness, light to moderate rain during the morning and moderate to heavy showers from the afternoon onward, accompanied by thunder. Temperatures should vary between 19 degrees minimum and 30 degrees maximum.
On Wednesday, moderate to heavy rain showers are expected until early morning, giving way to isolated light to moderate rain for the rest of the day. Winds will be moderate to strong until the morning period, and temperatures will drop.
For Thursday and Friday, the forecast is for reduced cloudiness with a predominance of partly cloudy skies and no rain forecast. Winds will be moderate and temperatures should rise. On Saturday, there is a forecast of light to moderate rain.
