The Municipality of Borba sent a good morning message to the residents of the city, designated as "Borbenses". The message includes information about the weather conditions forecast for the day.

According to the forecasts from the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the sky will be clear during the day. The temperature should range between 14 and 32 degrees.

Regarding available services, Farmácia Central is the pharmacy on duty today.

The Municipality of Borba closed the message wishing the citizens an excellent Thursday.

A very hot air mass associated with an anticyclone will cause temperatures to rise significantly in mainland Portugal from Thursday onwards, with heat intensifying between Saturday and Monday, September 14, which is expected to be the hottest day of the episode. IPMA reduces to three the Algarve municipalities with "maximum" fire danger

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) reduced to three the Algarve municipalities with "maximum" rural fire danger, keeping Loulé, São Brás de Alportel and Tavira at the highest level of risk. With "very high" danger are eight municipalities, including Vila do Bispo, Lagos, Monchique and Portimão, while Aljezur, Lagoa and Albufeira have "elevated" danger and only Faro and Olhão have "moderate" risk. The IPMA calculates these danger levels based on five indicators: air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and precipitation in the previous 24 hours.
