After a first weekend of the festival marked by sun at the opening and rainy days following, the weather forecast indicates that rain ponchos should be seen again at the City of Rock during September 11, 12, and 13, the last weekend of Rock in Rio. Meteorologist Andrea Ramos, in a survey conducted for O GLOBO, analyzed the climate conditions for each day of the festival.
Friday (11) should be the hottest day of the period, with the lowest risk of rain, offering more favorable conditions for spectators. On Saturday (12), the heat continues, however with increased cloud cover and possibility of rain during some periods of the day.
The main change occurs on Sunday (13), when a cold front should pass through the region. The entry of cooler and more humid air will cause temperatures to drop, the sky will become more overcast, and the possibility of rain will increase significantly. Andrea Ramos stated that, at this point, Sunday is the day that deserves the most attention for those going to Rock in Rio.
