AdRA: Temporary suspension of water supply in Murtosa

AdRA will carry out maintenance work on the water supply network in the Parish of Torreira, in the Municipality of Murtosa. This intervention will require a temporary suspension of the water supply.

The interruption is scheduled for September 14, 2026, between 09:00 and 13:00. Several streets and roads will be affected by the suspension, including Rua do São Paio, Rua do Emigrante, EN 327, Rua das Dunas, Rua do Pinhal, Urbanização José da Graziela, Rua Nova, Caminho do Meio and Transversal à Rua de São Paio.

Residents of the area can consult information about the interventions through the telephone line 808 200 217*, opting for option 2, or through the AdRA website, where interventions and occurrences are available and in permanent update.

Social Security paid this Tuesday the Complementary Solidary for the Elderly (CSI), a benefit aimed at low-income pensioners. In June 2026, the CSI covered approximately 245.5 thousand people, the highest value since its creation, representing an increase of 75% compared to April 2024. For the first time, more than half of beneficiaries receive more than 200 euros monthly, with one in five receiving above 300 euros. The growth is due to the increase in the reference value from 550.70 to 670 euros and changes in access conditions, which no longer consider children's income. Beneficiaries continue to have free access to medicines, but with new rules that prioritize generics and limit reimbursement to the reference price.
