Vasco v. Baselli is the new CEO of the Agua Hotels group, taking executive leadership after nearly 40 years of experience in international hospitality. The new executive returns to Portugal after working with groups such as Hilton, Raffles, Swissôtel and Abercrombie & Kent.
The appointment is particularly relevant for Trás-os-Montes, a region where the group operates the Agua Hotels Mondim de Basto and Agua Hotels Terra Fria in Bragança. The chain's presence in the area is expected to be further strengthened with a new project planned for Vila Real.
In October 2025, the group announced a seven million euro investment in the requalification of the former Seminary building, which will be transformed into a four-star hotel. The project was approved by the Municipal Council and marks a phase of continuity of activity and new investments by the group.
Vasco v. Baselli now takes leadership at a time of expansion for Agua Hotels, with the objective of strengthening the group's presence in the northern interior of Portugal.
