After several days of intense heat in Portugal, rain should return next week, mainly affecting the North and Central regions between Tuesday and Wednesday, with accumulations between 4 to 7 millimeters. IPMA places Alentejo under yellow warning due to hot weather

IPMA issued a yellow warning of hot weather for seven districts of mainland Portugal (Beja, Castelo Branco, Évora, Faro, Lisbon, Setúbal and Portalegre) until 21:00 today, due to high maximum temperature values. The southern coast of Madeira island and Porto Santo were also placed under yellow warning. Minimum temperatures will range between 14°C and 24°C, while maximum temperatures are expected to reach 39°C in Évora, with mostly clear or clear skies and light or moderate wind on the mainland.
