Seat celebrated 76 years of history as one of the most important automobile conglomerates in Spain. It was the Seat 1400 that inaugurated the company's production, although the iconic Seat 600 became the true symbol of Spanish society.
Currently, the company manufactures 600,000 vehicles per year and contributes 16,000 million euros to the national GDP, demonstrating its economic importance for Spain.
The company began in the old Seat factory, located in the Zona Franca industrial estate, in Barcelona, where the first vehicle from the assembly line came out 73 years ago.
Over the decades, Seat has consolidated itself as one of the most significant social and cultural emblems of the country, now facing the challenge of surviving beyond 2030.
