Fourteen districts in mainland Portugal are under yellow warning until Saturday, due to unfavorable weather conditions.
About 90 municipalities in various districts across the country face very high fire danger, according to the available data.
The affected districts include Bragança, Guarda, Coimbra, Leiria, Castelo Branco, Santarém, Portalegre, Setúbal, Évora, Beja, and Faro, covering a vast area of the mainland territory.
The meteorological situation alerts to conditions conducive to the occurrence and spread of forest fires, requiring increased vigilance on the part of authorities and the population during this period.
