The village of Cucujães, integrated in the Metropolitan Area of Porto (AMP), will receive a new meteorological station. The equipment is part of a network of eight new stations that will be installed at various points throughout the metropolitan region.
The overall investment for the implementation of these eight stations amounts to 650 thousand euros. This funding aims to provide the AMP with a modern climate monitoring infrastructure.
The main objective of this network is to improve the monitoring of climate conditions in the region. It also aims to strengthen the prevention of risks related to meteorological phenomena and support Civil Protection operations.
