Around 150 children and young people, aged between 6 and 12, participated in the 'Férias Vivas 2026' project. The initiative was promoted by IHM – Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM, and took place during the months of July and August.
The project was aimed at children and young people residing in the housing estates managed by IHM in the areas of Nazaré, Ribeira Grande, Comandante Camacho de Freitas, Santo Amaro, Ribeiro Real, Torre-Machico and Nogueira.
The activities provided to participants included leisure time occupation and moments of social interaction among the children.
The 'Férias Vivas 2026' also aimed to promote healthy lifestyles among the young participants.
