Is the war between the United States and Iran entering a new phase?

The war between the United States and Iran may be entering a new escalation phase. Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced it had attacked American bases in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. These attacks were carried out in response to the most recent American bombings. Nearly a month after there were no attacks between the two countries, tension has risen significantly again. As a consequence of this escalation, oil prices have surged again on international markets.
