One of the crew members of a speedboat was detained after the vessel ran aground on Moledo beach, in the municipality of Caminha. The Republican National Guard (GNR) conducted the operation that resulted in the detention.

The vessel was intercepted and ended up running aground on the beach sand. The authorities proceeded to search the speedboat and its occupants.

According to information gathered by Correio da Manhã, the speedboat was carrying supplies and fuel at the time of the approach.

The authorities searched the vessel, but no narcotic substances were found on board.
