Accident between two cars and a camper van between Évora and Beja leaves seven injured

A road accident involving two light passenger vehicles and a camper van occurred this Thursday on National Road 18 (EN18), at kilometre 273, between Évora and Beja, near Nossa Senhora de Machede. The accident left seven injured.

Of the seven injured, five were taken to the Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora, while the remaining two were assisted at the scene by the emergency teams present at the location.

The alert for the accident mobilised 27 operatives supported by 12 vehicles, including resources from Évora Firefighters and the Republican National Guard (GNR).

Following the incident, traffic was restricted on that section of the EN18, with road circulation having since been resumed.
