Federal Police reports made public this Friday indicate that two dismissed Central Bank servers acted as informal consultants of Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master. According to the investigation, Paulo Sérgio Neves de Souza and Beline Santana would have provided guidance to the businessman, reviewed sensitive documents, and worked on matters related to banking supervision of interest to Master.
The documents also indicate that Vorcaro made payments to the two servers. In October 2024, according to the PF, approximately R$ 760 thousand were paid to Beline, and conversations about transfers would have continued throughout 2025.
One of the reports gathers dialogues between Vorcaro and Paulo Sérgio. In one of the messages, the server forwarded to the banker the ordinance that registered his promotion to deputy chief of the Central Bank's Banking Supervision Department.
The sector responsible for this supervision is tasked with monitoring banks' capital and liquidity, as well as following up on the management practices of financial institutions.
