Milhem Cortaz is in the second season of the series "Vermelho sangue", which premieres on September 17 on Globoplay. In the plot, the actor plays Martín, father of twins Luna and Juan, played by Letícia Vieira and Lucas Leto respectively. Martín is a werewolf who reappears after years of seclusion.

Martín's return puts him in conflict with his ex-wife Carol, played by Heloísa Jorge. Carol is a scientist and seeks a genetic "cure" to prevent the children from transforming into werewolves, while the father is against this idea.

The actor spoke about the meaning of the series, describing it as a metaphor for how to deal with who we are and our moods within society, to avoid conflicts. According to Milhem, the series is about respecting the space each person occupies in the universe.
