Pedro Sampaio says the Rock in Rio show is costing 'something in the millions': 'It's meant to impress'

Pedro Sampaio, a 28-year-old DJ, is about to debut on Rock in Rio's Palco Mundo stage this Saturday, September 12. The artist says the show is costing "something in the millions" and that the goal is to impress the festival audience.

Pedro Sampaio hasn't finished preparing the show yet and guarantees he will only be ready at showtime. He reveals he works about ten hours a day on the new remixes, choreography, and projections he wants to display on the festival's huge brand new LED screen.

The DJ likes to leave room for the new and says his team goes crazy with his working method. During Rock in Rio Lisboa, the day before the show, he was still sending new things. According to him, his differential is the freshness in what he does and the intuition to create things at the right moment.

Pedro Sampaio guarantees he is prepared to make all necessary adaptations, from music to ballet, until the last minute. He says if something that moves Brazil happens before the show and makes sense, he won't hesitate to include something among the songs "Jet ski" and "Sequência cnt".
