Forum Algarve promoted practical activities for Microorganism Day, in partnership with the University of Algarve. The initiative aimed to bring the public closer to the invisible world of microorganisms through educational and interactive experiences. Participants had the opportunity to observe microorganisms under the microscope, allowing them to closely visualize organisms that are not normally visible to the naked eye. In addition to microscopic observations, the event included practical experiments that allowed visitors to better understand the role of microorganisms in different contexts. One of the highlighted activities was MicrobeArte, which combines art and science in the creative representation of microorganisms. The event took place at Forum Algarve and was open to the general public, seeking to spark interest in microbiology in an accessible and fun way. The partnership with UAlg ensures the scientific rigor of the proposed activities, associating the higher education institution with this scientific outreach initiative.
