The doors of the Chafariz D'El Rei School, in Évora, closed in November last year after part of a classroom ceiling collapsed. The incident led to the evacuation of the school building for safety reasons.
Next Monday, the children return to the school space, but not to traditional classrooms. The establishment will receive students in prefabricated monoblocks, which serve as a temporary solution while the situation is not resolved.
The measure aims to allow the resumption of school activities while the repair or rehabilitation work on the original building takes place. The prefabricated containers are the alternative found to accommodate the students during this transitional period.
