Wind turbine blade transportation conditions traffic between Ribeira Brava and Paul da Serra

Vehicle circulation will be restricted next Sunday, September 13, between 5 AM and 5 PM, on various sections of the road between Ribeira Brava and Paul da Serra. The traffic restriction is due to the start of the second phase of the wind turbine blade transportation operation.

The transportation will be carried out by the company ENEREEM, belonging to the Madeira Electricity Group (EEM). This operation is part of a project to transport components for the installation of wind turbines in the region.

The transportation route will include Via Expresso 3 (VE3), passing through the towns of Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar, Arco da Calheta, Calheta and Prazeres. After this road, the transportation will continue along regional roads 219 and 105, until the access to Paul da Serra.
