Italian-Brazilian journalist and sports commentator Claudio Carsughi died this Thursday (10) at 93. The communicator's death was reported by his daughter, Claudia Carsughi, through a post on social media.

Claudia Carsughi wrote that her father died after a 27-day battle against a respiratory infection. In her farewell message, she asked fans to pray for him.

The daughter also expressed that her father is now at peace with his ancestors, expressing confidence in the journalist's peaceful passing after the long hospitalization period.
