Donald Trump predicts that the war in Iran will end immediately after the US midterm elections. The US leader made this statement to journalists on the tarmac at Andrews Air Force Base, near Washington.

According to Trump, the Iranians "won't hold out much longer" in the war. The US President also considered that Iran is "desperately trying to influence the elections" in the United States.

This position comes in the context of the upcoming US midterm elections, which take place in November and in which the Democrats are trying to regain control of Congress.
