Leader of the Azorean government calls on parties to take responsibility for the 2027 Budget

The president of the Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, today called on political parties to take "responsibility" regarding the Budget for 2027, considering it essential that the region has an approved budget.

Bolieiro stated that the Budget for 2027 constitutes an "important and demanding challenge", being the first Budget in the last five years after the conclusion of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

The president of the Azorean government also guaranteed that he is not indifferent to the decline in tourism in the region, acknowledging the importance of this sector for the Azorean economy.
