The lines at AIMA's (Agency for Immigration and Asylum) door continue to be a reality, according to the news. The justice system received more than 130 thousand complaints in two years related to this situation.
The Government proceeded to reinforce the agency with more than 130 staff members, but the number of appointments also increased significantly, which indicates that demand for services continues to exceed the response capacity.
The president of the Agency for Immigration and Asylum ensures that, despite the persistent lines, the number of complaints has decreased, suggesting an improvement in service, although the situation continues to generate concern.
