The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, publicly defended that the Islamic Republic is about to collapse, according to information released about his statements.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted through an official statement in which it condemned Netanyahu's presence in Syrian territory.

In its condemnation, the Ministry classified the action as provocative and a flagrant violation of Syrian sovereignty.
