Rita Júdice guaranteed yesterday that she did not lie to Parliament and rejected contradictions about the 144 thousand euro budget allocated for the destruction of barrels from Operation Pacoba. The minister explained that the information she provided was given to her by the Judicial Police.

Rita Júdice's position comes after a hearing in Parliament where questions were raised about possible contradictions in the information regarding the budget for this operation.

The Chega party requested an urgent hearing with the director of the Judicial Police to obtain additional explanations on this matter.

Operation Pacoba is at the center of this controversy, with the party demanding greater transparency and clarification regarding the values involved and the process of destruction of the barrels.
