Zelensky's plane nearly hit by drone in Moldova

The plane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was nearly hit by a drone during takeoff in Moldova while heading to Oslo, Norway. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store revealed the incident to public television NRK, stating: "His plane was nearly hit by a drone during takeoff in Moldova. This is the reality in which he lives."

The Ukrainian President was traveling to Oslo to attend the funeral of Norway's King Harald V, who died on June 30. Zelensky arrived in the Norwegian capital on Tuesday for the funeral ceremony.

Jonas Gahr Store did not reveal further details about the drone incident, with the exact circumstances and origin of the device unknown. Moldova, a neighboring country to Ukraine, has been the scene of tensions related to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
