The Housing and Development For Portugal Association (AHDPP) has been created, with the purpose of multiplying accessible housing in Portugal, benefiting both the public and private sectors, without generating debt and in a model replicable throughout the territory. The association is led by Rui Miguel Braga, current vice-president of the Barreiro Municipal Council.
The association brings together specialists from different areas, including António Carmona Rodrigues, president of the Águas de Portugal Group, and Miguel Saraiva, from the Saraiva + Associados architecture firm. The Strategic Advisory Council is led by consultant and former CEO of Portugal Ventures, Rui Ferreira.
António Cardoso Pereira, lawyer and president of Lispolis, will assume the presidency of the General Assembly, while Luís Matos Martins, CEO of MG Ventures, will be the president of the Supervisory Board. The association already has its own website.
The public presentation of AHDPP is scheduled for September 15th, at the Portugal Pavilion, bringing together associates and various guests for the dissemination of proposals and action plan. The closing of the event will feature the presence of the Secretary of State for Housing, Patrícia Gonçalves Costa.
