Braga inaugurates this Thursday the largest university residence in the country financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The Confiança University Residence is considered the largest student housing structure financed by the PRR and represents a significant milestone in investment in student support infrastructure. The total investment exceeds 29 million euros, allowing the provision of 786 beds for university students. The official inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 09:30, on Rua Nova de Santa Cruz, with the presence of various entities and political officials. This project is part of the strategy to strengthen student housing capacity in Portugal, financed by the PRR European funds.
