Amazon reconfigures its telecommunications services in Spain and hands over all its connections to Vodafone España. The e-commerce giant chose the telecom operator controlled by Zegona to also manage its mobile connectivity in the country, a contract that until now was in the hands of Telefónica.
Both groups thus expand the alliance they already had in the Spanish market in the fixed telecommunications sector. The change represents a significant transfer from a historic Spanish operator to an operator with a majority British stake in the Spanish market.
