Benfica may be reinforcing their attacking sector for the current sporting season, having placed striker Kaio Jorge on their list of targets to follow in Brazilian football. According to transfer market specialist Ekrem Konur, the Lisbon club faces strong competition from Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen for the signing of the young top scorer from Cruzeiro.
The 22-year-old player is also being closely watched by other European clubs, namely Aston Villa, Milan and Fiorentina. His good performances in the Brasileirão have put the striker at the center of attention for the next transfer windows.
The Belo Horizonte club have set the financial bar between 40 and 45 million euros for the player's registration. The required value is justified by the existence of a future profit-sharing clause belonging to Juventus in Kaio Jorge's negotiations.
