The Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo issued a public alert warning citizens about a fraud attempt that uses the name of the municipal president. Local authorities are warning the population about this fraudulent situation.

A fake email address has been identified that has been used to send messages to various people. This address does not correspond to any official channel of the city council.

Authorities recommend that citizens be wary of any messages received from unverified sources and that they do not provide personal data in response to suspicious communications. The municipality reinforces that its official channels are the only legitimate means of contact with the local authority.

Torres Vedras | Man arrested for drug trafficking in Santa Cruz

A 24-year-old man was arrested by the Republican National Guard (GNR) for drug trafficking in Santa Cruz, in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
