Torres Vedras | Man arrested for drug trafficking in Santa Cruz

A 24-year-old man was arrested by the Republican National Guard for drug trafficking in Santa Cruz, in the municipality of Torres Vedras.

The arrest took place during a patrol action, when the military identified suspicious behavior on the public road by a group of individuals. The group was approached and subjected to security searches, and it was found that one of the suspects had illicit substances in his possession, resulting in his arrest in the act.

The following items were seized: 96 doses of hashish, 178 euros in cash, a mobile phone and a transport bag.

The arrested person was made a defendant and the facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Torres Vedras.
