Thirty municipalities distributed across six districts are at maximum fire danger. This information was released by the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
According to IPMA, the rural fire danger will remain very high in some regions at least until the end of the week.
The current meteorological situation favors the occurrence and spread of fires, requiring special vigilance on the part of authorities and the population in these areas.
