Pilot project detected poor air quality in 12 schools in the north and centre

Now7 September 2026 at 15:23

A pilot project managed to detect air quality problems in 12 schools located in the northern and central regions of the country. The investigation identified unsatisfactory levels of atmospheric pollution in these educational institutions.

Pollution was mainly recorded during the night and on weekends, periods when schools are normally not in operation. This situation suggests that the sources of contamination are not directly linked to teaching activities.

The possible causes identified for this pollution include burning and dust. These atmospheric factors appear to be at the origin of the air quality problems detected in the schools covered by the pilot project.
