Notícias de Setúbal7 September 2026 at 15:18

According to the forecasts of IPMA – Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, the rural fire danger in Setúbal will be moderate on the 8th and 9th, as well as between the 11th and 13th. The level rises to high on the 14th and reaches very high on the 15th. The heat and low humidity are the factors contributing to the increased fire danger.

The National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection recommends that the population adopt appropriate behaviors and attitudes when facing rural fire danger situations, including the adoption of prevention and precaution measures, in accordance with current legislation.

The yellow warning for hot weather issued by IPMA for the Setúbal district ends at 9:00 PM on the 7th. On the 8th and 9th, a drop in temperature is forecast, with highs of 32 and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively, in the municipality of Setúbal.

In the following days, a gradual rise in temperatures is expected, reaching 35 degrees on the 12th and 34 degrees on the 13th. This information was published by the news portal of the Setúbal Municipal Council.
