A group of approximately 30 people landed during the early morning at the beach at Foz do Meco in Sesimbra, in an incident still being investigated by authorities. The occurrence was initially reported by a fisherman who spotted a large group near the coastal area during the night.

After receiving the alert, the Maritime Police moved to the location to investigate the situation. However, when the agents arrived at the beach at Foz, the people had already disappeared without a trace.
