Celorico da Beira received, on Sunday, September 6th, a performance by the Choir of Former Orpheonistas of the University of Coimbra. The cultural event was dedicated to choral music and the preservation of Portuguese musical tradition.

The Choir of Former Orpheonistas is formed by former students of the University of Coimbra. The group has been developing, for over four decades, a work of preservation and dissemination of Portuguese musical tradition through choral singing.

This performance is part of a series of cultural initiatives that bring choral music to various locations across the country, promoting Portuguese musical heritage and valuing the work of long-standing amateur choral groups.
