Anitta was officially announced as Grande Rio's drum queen, as Retratos da Vida reported exclusively. To look her best in the presentation video, the singer received samba lessons from Ana Flávia Barcelos, a famous musa from Salgueiro and recognized talent in samba no pé.
Ana Flávia stated that Anitta already knew how to samba and just needed adjustments. According to her, the lessons were aimed at polishing the talent that the artist already possesses. The Salgueiro samba dancer said she shared some of her experience as a samba dancer and musa to contribute to building the "Anitta Queen."
Ana Flávia has been a samba dancer at Salgueiro since childhood and will parade as the school's musa for the fourth consecutive year. She recognizes the responsibility of preparing the new Grande Rio drum queen.
After the official announcement, Grande Rio's leadership had the school's rehearsal space decorated with photos of Anitta, demonstrating enthusiasm for the choice. The school stated it was "in love with her."
