The municipalities of Mealhada, Coimbra and Cantanhede are preparing a joint application to create a Large Business Reception Area. The objective is to establish an industrial, logistics and railway corridor that unites the three municipalities.
This project aims to reinforce the connection to the ports of Aveiro and Figueira da Foz, leveraging the existing port infrastructure in the central region of the country.
The initiative represents an effort of intermunicipal cooperation to attract investment and boost economic activity in the region, taking advantage of the geographical proximity between the three municipalities and their accessibility.
