A fire broke out in an apartment in Vila Nova de Famalicão, triggering the evacuation of the entire building. The apartment where the fire originated was completely destroyed. In addition to this dwelling, the remaining seven apartments in the same block were left without habitable conditions due to the damage caused by the fire. Eight families were displaced as a result of the incident.

E-REDES announced new scheduled power outages for Sunday, September 6th, affecting areas in the municipalities of Odemira, Mafra, and Palmela.
