E-REDES announced new scheduled power outages for Sunday, September 6th, affecting areas in the municipalities of Odemira, Mafra, and Palmela. The cuts are scheduled and are related to interventions on the electrical grid, including operations, connections, repairs, or conservation work on the infrastructure.
The longest interruption is planned for the parish of Santo Isidoro, in the municipality of Mafra, where power supply may be interrupted between 06:00 and 11:30, for a maximum period of five and a half hours. In the parish of Quinta do Anjo, in Palmela, the cut is scheduled between 05:00 and 10:00, and may last five hours.
The municipality of Odemira has several occurrences, particularly in the parish of Vila Nova de Milfontes, where numerous postal codes will be affected. In these locations, the interruption is scheduled between 07:00 and 11:00, corresponding to a period of four hours. The times indicated are the scheduled periods for carrying out the work, not necessarily meaning that each customer will be without electricity for the entire interval.
E-REDES states that scheduled interruptions are used when it is necessary to carry out work on the grid and the available power supply alternatives have been exhausted, being planned to reduce the impact on consumers.
