Portugal faces an intense heat wave that gives no respite, with nights possibly reaching 30 degrees Celsius. Heat persists across the entire territory, maintaining adverse conditions for the population.
On Saturday, thunderstorms are forecast that will bring some temporary relief, but the weather will change again on Sunday. This change will mark a significant shift in meteorological conditions after days of extreme heat.
Maximum temperatures are beginning to drop significantly along the coast, while inland the intense heat will continue to be felt. This difference between coastal areas and the interior will be particularly marked.
According to 'Luso Meteo' forecasts, it will be precisely during the night that one of the biggest anomalies of this heat episode may occur, with abnormally high temperatures for the season.
