Medieval Market of Valença recreates life and customs of the 16th century

The Fortress of Valença hosts another edition of the Medieval Market, an event dedicated to recreating the atmosphere and customs of the 16th century. The fair lasts three days, offering visitors an immersive experience in the life of the period.

The event includes markets, camps, arts and crafts, gastronomy, music, theater and various shows. The program aims to faithfully recreate the daily life and traditions of the 16th century.

Among the participants are merchants, artisans, musicians, knights and period characters. All contribute to bringing to life the medieval atmosphere proposed by the market.

The Medieval Market of Valença takes place in the city's Fortress, transforming the historic space into a setting that allows visitors to travel back in time and learn more about the experiences and customs of the 16th century.
