Actress Carla Jeffery, known for playing the character Bree in Disney's "Zombies" franchise, died at age 33 on Tuesday, September 1st, at her home in California. The cause of death has not yet been released by authorities.

After rumors circulated on social media suggesting that drug use was related to the death, the artist's family issued a statement to TMZ denying these speculations. A representative for the relatives told the American press that the information circulating online does not match reality and confirmed that Jeffery did not use drugs.

The family also stated that there was no crime related to the death and that police are not involved in the case. The case remains pending with the medical examiner, who has not yet determined a cause or preliminary circumstance for the death.
